The Northview Chiefs secured a decisive victory against the Laurel Hill Hoboes in the quarterfinals of the FHSAA Rural District 1 volleyball tournament on Monday. Northview won the match in three straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-8.

As the No. 4 seed, Northview will face the top-seeded Jay in the semifinals at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The other semifinal match will feature No. 2 Baker against No. 3 Central at 6 p.m. Both semifinal games will take place at Baker High School. The championship match is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Baker.
