Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Jack Flaherty delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday in Game 1 of the NLCS against the New York Mets. He pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only two hits and two walks while striking out six batters.
At 28 years old, Flaherty’s dominant display was a welcome turnaround after a disappointing outing in the NLDS against the San Diego Padres. If needed, he will be fully rested and likely take the mound again for Game 5 on Friday.
