Coaches at Bobbies Youth Rugby Club are eager for the upcoming season, marking an exciting time for the team.
After years of inactivity, the well-known Bobbies Youth Rugby Club is finishing its first league since reopening earlier this year. The revival of the club is the result of the hard work and determination of a dedicated group of parents.
The club has been officially re-registered and is now in full swing. Bobbies Youth Rugby currently boasts 19 registered players who proudly represent the club on the field. In recent months, the U6 team has played 20 matches, securing 15 wins, four losses, and one draw.
Similarly, the U7 team has also had a successful run. They participated in 17 games, winning 10 and losing six. Players from various areas, including Eloff, Boksburg, and Brakpan, are traveling significant distances to join the Bobbies family.
To enhance skill development and prepare for the upcoming Valkie rugby, the team holds practice sessions once a week on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM.
