Alabama’s historic journey to the Final Four will be celebrated this Friday as the team prepares for the 2024-2025 season.
Last March, the Alabama men’s basketball team made history by defeating Clemson in the Elite Eight in Los Angeles. This victory marked the school’s first appearance in the Final Four. Although their run ended with a loss to UConn, who later won the national championship, the season is viewed as a significant milestone for head coach Nate Oats and Alabama basketball.
To honor the achievements of the 2024 team, Alabama athletics will unveil the Final Four banner at their annual fan day. The event will also feature three-point and dunk contests among the players, a full scrimmage, and an interview with Coach Oats.
“It’s going to be special,” Oats said during an interview on The Next Round podcast. “We’ve had very loyal fans, and they deserve a Final Four. It will be nice to raise the banner and start focusing on this year.”
Doors will open for Yea Alabama and Crimson Chaos members at 7:30 PM, followed by general admission at 8:00 PM. General admission tickets are available for $10 on the Roll Tide website.
