Nikolas Khamenia, one of the top stretch-four players in the 2025 recruiting class, toured the University of North Carolina basketball program this weekend, bringing his entire family along.
UNC basketball head coach Hubert Davis and his team welcomed the 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward from Harvard-Westlake School in California. Khamenia, a four-star recruit ranked No. 29 overall and No. 9 among power forwards by 247Sports, was on an official visit with the Tar Heels.
In August, Khamenia announced his top five schools: UNC, Duke, Arizona, Gonzaga, and UCLA.
Last weekend, Khamenia visited Arizona. He will visit Duke, UNC’s archrival, next weekend.
Khamenia has held a scholarship offer from UNC since late May and is now a key target for the Tar Heels. He plans to make his decision in October.
Additionally, Davis and his team, still seeking their first win in the 2025 recruiting cycle, also hosted Derek Dixon, a four-star guard from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C., this weekend.
