President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Eniola Mariam Bolaji for winning a medal in badminton at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Bolaji, at just 18 years old, made history by becoming the first African athlete to secure a medal in the sport at the Games.
On Monday, Bolaji won a bronze medal in the women’s Para-badminton SL3 category at the Paris Paralympics.
In a statement released by his Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu praised Bolaji for her bravery and determination, which led to Nigeria’s first medal at these Games. The President acknowledged her as a shining example of Nigerian youth’s talent and resilience.
President Tinubu encouraged Bolaji to continue her pursuit of success and not to rest on her laurels.
