Humbert joins fellow Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, who fell to Gijs Brouwer of the Netherlands. Brouwer becomes the second Dutchman to advance to the quarters, alongside sixth-seeded Tallon Griekspoor, who defeated Mackenzie McDonald 6-3, 7-6 (5).
The match between Russia’s fourth seed Karen Khachanov and Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic was suspended due to darkness, with both players tied at one set each entering the third set. The continuation of their match will determine the final spot in the quarterfinals.
