The game’s decisive moment unfolded when pinch hitter Tyler Soderstrom drew a walk-off walk from Rockies reliever Peter Lambert on a four-pitch sequence. This climactic event capped off a remarkable five-run surge by the Athletics in the 11th inning.
The Rockies had seized the lead earlier in the inning, scoring four runs with Jake Cave and Brenton Doyle delivering run-scoring singles off A’s closer Mason Miller, followed by Brendan Rodgers’ two-run double off Brandon Bielak.
