The Clippers, now tied for fourth place in the Western Conference with the New Orleans Pelicans, face a challenging four-game road trip starting with a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
Despite an explosive start by the Clippers, shooting an impressive 68.4 percent from the floor in the first quarter to take a 34-29 lead, the Pacers rallied back in the second quarter. Indiana’s resilience, fueled by Haliburton’s 15 points in the second quarter, propelled them to a narrow 65-62 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, despite the Clippers narrowing the gap to 87-84, the Pacers responded with a decisive 10-5 run, entering the fourth quarter with a commanding 97-89 advantage.
