The Angels continued to face difficulties, marking their sixth consecutive loss and dropping to a 1-9 record since August 27th.

The Orioles took an early lead in the second inning when Ramon Urias drove in Hays with a single. Baltimore extended their advantage in the third inning, amassing four runs to build a 5-0 lead.

However, the Angels fought back in the bottom of the third, with Luis Rengifo hitting a two-run homer, his 16th of the season, to narrow the Orioles’ lead to 5-2.

Baltimore continued to pile on the runs, taking advantage of Sandoval’s struggles and Jaime Barria’s entry into the game. Santander and Hays were instrumental in this effort, driving in runs in the sixth inning.

Although the Angels managed to score another run in the bottom of the sixth, the Orioles ultimately sealed their victory with back-to-back homers in the eighth inning. Santander’s two-run blast marked his 27th homer of the year, followed by Hays’ solo shot, his 14th, as the Orioles cruised to a 10-3 win.
