However, the Lady Vols faced challenges, as No. 10 Elza Tomase fell to No. 28 Carmen Herea in a tight match, 3-6, 6-7 (7), and No. 19 Catherine Aulia lost to No. 44 Ariana Anagagasty-Pursoo, 6-4, 7-6 (5).
