Florida A&M volleyball defeated Jackson State 3-1 to claim the SWAC championship, marking their third conference title in the last four years.
Jackson State was the only team in the SWAC to challenge the Rattlers this season. Both previous matchups between the two teams went to five sets. The first two sets in this championship match were similarly close, with Florida A&M winning both by just two points.
Jackson State fought back in the third set, winning decisively. However, Florida A&M secured the victory in the fourth set, finishing off the Tigers. The win also completed an undefeated SWAC season for the Rattlers.
With the championship, Florida A&M has earned a spot in the NCAA tournament. The team now awaits the results of the NCAA selection show, which will take place on Sunday, December 1.
