The Los Angeles Clippers will be without their leading scorer, Norman Powell, for Wednesday night’s game against the Orlando Magic due to a hamstring injury.
Head coach Tyronn Lue confirmed that Powell will also miss Friday’s home matchup against the Sacramento Kings.
Powell sustained the injury during the first half of Monday’s victory over the Golden State Warriors, where he logged a season-low 26 minutes after returning in the second half.
This season, Powell is averaging a career-high 23.3 points per game. Notably, from October 26 to November 11, he scored at least 20 points in ten consecutive games, averaging 26.9 points during that stretch.
His strong performance has been particularly crucial for the Clippers, who have been without superstar Kawhi Leonard this season due to ongoing knee issues.
