Roma stunned the eight-time European champions by taking a 1-0 lead in the 74th minute, courtesy of an impressive left-footed shot from 18-year-old Giulia Dragoni, which marked Roma’s only shot on target throughout the match. However, Lyon responded fiercely, with veteran forward Diani scoring twice in quick succession from close range following corner kicks in the 77th and 79th minutes.

Chelsea defeated last-place Celtic 3-0, with Lucy Bronze opening the scoring just 64 seconds into the match. Wieke Kaptein added a header in the 25th minute, and Eve Périsset converted a penalty in stoppage time, marking Chelsea’s 11th consecutive win under new coach Sonia Bompastor.

Real Madrid triumphed 3-2 over Twente, with Colombian sensation Linda Caicedo playing a pivotal role. After Twente took the lead in the 29th minute through Jaimy Ravensbergen, Caicedo equalized just before halftime with a well-placed shot. She then assisted Signe Bruun for Madrid’s second goal in the 71st minute, ensuring their advancement to the quarterfinals with nine points, six ahead of Twente.

In Germany, Alexandra Popp shone for Wolfsburg, scoring a hat trick and providing two assists in a commanding 5-0 victory against Galatasaray. Popp opened the scoring in the third minute and added two headers, leading Wolfsburg to a repeat of their previous week’s result against the same opponent. The win sets up a crucial matchup on December 11, when Wolfsburg hosts Roma, both teams vying for second place in the group behind Lyon.
