While Donald Trump campaigned with Packers legend Brett Favre in Green Bay, Kamala Harris held a rally in Madison, Wisconsin, alongside the Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team.
As Harris arrived at the Alliant Energy Center, she was warmly greeted by the team and Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers. She hugged each player, who responded with gasps of excitement. Harris complimented the team, saying, “You have an extraordinary team.”
One player told Harris, “You’re so pretty.”
The Badgers, with a record of 15-4, are currently ranked seventh in the nation and boast an undefeated home record of 8-0.
A banner at the rally read “Badgers for Harris-Walz,” highlighting the importance of young voters. University of Wisconsin students and residents of Madison have shown strong voter turnout in recent elections.
Harris emphasized unity and common ground during her speech. She built on her previous address in Washington, which her team labeled the “closing argument” of her campaign.
“I am not looking to score political points,” the vice president stated. “I am looking to make progress.”
