Recently, the first “Axilixi Cup” urban basketball invitational tournament in Bijie City in 2024 was held at the Axilixi Jiucaiping Scenic Area Sports Center in Hezhang County. Seven teams from provinces such as Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan, Chongqing, and Inner Mongolia gathered together, and the athletes were full of energy and high spirits, engaging in fierce competition on the court.
Excited Sichuan tourist Zhang Qiang said, “During the National Day holiday, I came here on a self-driving tour to the Jiucaiping Scenic Area in Hezhang, and coincidentally there was a basketball game being held here. I am also a basketball enthusiast, and I am very happy and excited to come here to cheer for our two Sichuan teams, hoping that they can achieve excellent results.”
In the final, the Chongqing Normal University team and the Zhaotong City team, who entered the championship and runner-up finals, respectively, engaged in intense competition. The players dribbled, passed, and shot, with each move demonstrating superb basketball skills and a tenacious fighting spirit. The cheers and shouts of the on-site audience rose and fell, pushing the atmosphere of the game to a climax. In the end, with excellent teamwork and stable performance, the Zhaotong City team won the championship of the competition with a score of 86-83, the Chongqing Normal University team won the runner-up, and the Bijie City team won the third place.
During the competition, there was also a wonderful performance of fancy slam dunks, bringing a magnificent visual feast to the audience. At the award ceremony, the organizers presented trophies and medals to the championship, runner-up, and third-place teams. During the interval of the award ceremony, various forms of literary and artistic performances were held, bringing joy to everyone.
This invitational tournament not only provided a platform for communication and competition for basketball enthusiasts, but also showcased the charm of various urban basketball teams.
