The Crimson Tide’s offense was relentless from the start. Gianna Paul set the tone by scoring the first goal just 14 minutes into the match. Brooke Steere followed up in the 25th minute, and Nedya Sawan quickly added another in the 29th, securing a 3-0 lead for Alabama by halftime.
Maison Smith capped off the scoring in the 62nd minute, making it 4-0. Although the goals stopped there, Alabama continued to apply pressure, registering 21 shots in total, with 10 on target. In contrast, Southern Miss managed just eight shots, only three of which were on target. Alabama also dominated in corner kicks, outpacing Southern Miss 8-0.
