Future Ticketing, an Offaly-based company, has been shortlisted for a major international sports business award, going head-to-head with sports giants like Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Newcastle United, Norwich City, and Basketball England. The Sports Business Awards, which recognize excellence in the industry, will take place in London on November 29. The entries for these awards are judged by chief executives of major sports governing bodies.
Future Ticketing, which supplied the ticketing software for last Sunday’s Tullamore Show, is in the running for the Innovation category. The company’s nomination highlights its cutting-edge API (Application Programming Interface) technology. This innovative software allows clients to integrate all their preferred technology partners, creating a seamless single customer view.
Liam Holton, the chief executive of Future Ticketing, expressed his excitement about the nomination. “We are delighted to be nominated for a Sports Business award and are especially proud to be recognized in the Sports Innovation Award category,” Holton said. He emphasized that innovation has always been central to the company’s mission of digitization and that they were pioneers in using API software in sports ticketing.
